Schedule an Appointment
We offer two types of appointments for online students:
1:1 Video Conference
A 30-minute appointment that entails both a paper review and a face-to-face meeting with a writing center specialist via video conferencing.
For this appointment, you must submit your paper to your assigned Writing Specialist at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. They will complete a thorough review of your paper, analyzing Writing, Grammar, and APA Formatting prior to meeting with you. During your video conference, your Writing Specialist will discuss any suggestions for improvement and you can ask paper-specific questions, discuss concerns with formatting, and/or brainstorm. (If you schedule an appointment for brainstorming or question/answer session, no paper is required. Please indicate the intention for your session in your Appointment Intake Form.)
Paper Feedback
This appointment is conducted via email and entails only a paper review.
This is NOT a face-to-face appointment. For this appointment, you must submit your paper to your assigned Writing Specialist at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. They will complete a thorough review of your paper, analyzing Writing, Grammar, and APA Formatting. Your paper will be emailed back to you with suggestions for improvement, answers to any questions, and any resources to help strengthen or reinforce your skills. (A paper is always required for this appointment.)

You may hold only one appointment slot at any time per class for which you are enrolled.

We recommend checking back frequently as students cancel, and new availability appears. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we are currently working on opening up more appointment slots.
