Jacqueline N. - Coordinator

Hello everyone! My name is Jacqueline, and I’m from Washington State. I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with both my BA in Forensic Psychology and my MS in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Behavioral Health (Management track). My background includes working as a Special Education Paraeducator at the middle and high school levels, as well as a PBIS Paraeducator at the elementary level. These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting students in a way that is both encouraging and empowering. In addition to my academic and professional work, I have volunteered in global health education initiatives, contributing to efforts that expand access to health-related learning opportunities for underserved populations. This work has been especially meaningful to me and continues to influence my long-term goals. Outside of work and school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my son (who is my biggest inspiration), and playing with my Pomeranian. I’m truly excited to be part of the POW-C and look forward to supporting fellow ASU students in building confidence and success in their writing!

Crystal D. - Assistant Coordinator

Hi, my name is Crystal.  I’m currently completing my second master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Arizona State University. I graduated in December 2024 with my first master’s in Forensic Psychology. I’ve always had a strong passion for academic writing, and I’m excited to share my knowledge and help others feel more comfortable with APA formatting and writing in general. Originally from Montana, I relocated to the Phoenix area with my three dogs in 2024. I’m thrilled to be a part of the ASU community and look forward to supporting others as they navigate their academic paths. Outside of academics, I love anything outdoors, especially when I can enjoy it with my dogs!

Emma D. -Writing Specialist

Hi! My name is Emma. I am currently residing back home on the Southside of Indianapolis. I am working on my Masters in Positive Psychology with intentions to pursue a PhD in Counseling Psychology. I am highly interested in researching the ties between chronic illnesses, mental health, and lifestyle, and I hope to serve women, in particular, in their health journeys in my future work. I earned my BS in Elementary Education from Ball State University with a concentration in Teaching English as a New Language. Additionally, I minored in Literature and completed the Honors College Humanities sequence during my undergraduate years. I was also a Writing Tutor for the university for four years during that time. I grew up in community settings and in a lot of different environments, culturally. I am extremely passionate about access, and it is always my goal with students/clients to help them access skills and depth in their writing that they just haven’t yet reached. In my spare time, I work and practice at a hot fitness studio, train for Spartan races, play with my dog Whaley on the trails, read, travel to friends, and dance for release.

Eny L. - Writing Specialist

Hi everyone, my name is Eny, also known as Abel.  I am pleased to introduce myself as a 2022 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Criminology and Criminal Justice.  Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, further deepening my commitment to the field and to academic excellence.  Throughout my academic journey, I have discovered a strong passion for writing, particularly for crafting well-researched, APA-compliant work that demonstrates clarity, precision, and critical thinking.  I take pride in helping others strengthen their academic skills and firmly believe that when one student succeeds, we all succeed, as supporting others in their growth and confidence is deeply important to me.  Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I am a devoted dog mom to four pups whom I absolutely adore.  I also love traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people, as these experiences continually broaden my perspective and enrich my personal and professional growth.
