Meet our team...

Jacqueline N. - Coordinator
Hello everyone! My name is Jacqueline, and I am from Washington State. I graduated summa cum laude with my BA in Forensic Psychology and my MS in Psychology from ASU. I am currently a DBH (Management) student here at ASU. I have experience as a Special Education Paraeducator at the middle and high school levels, and as a PBIS Paraeducator at the elementary level. In my free time I like to play with my Pomeranian, travel, and spend time with my wonderful son. I am looking forward to helping my fellow ASU students with their writing needs.

Crystal D. - Assistant Coordinator & Writing Specialist
Hi, my name is Crystal. I’m currently completing my second master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Arizona State University. I graduated in December 2024 with my first master’s in Forensic Psychology. I’ve always had a strong passion for academic writing, and I’m excited to share my knowledge and help others feel more comfortable with APA formatting and writing in general. Originally from Montana, I relocated to the Phoenix area with my three dogs in 2024. I’m thrilled to be a part of the ASU community and look forward to supporting others as they navigate their academic paths. Outside of academics, I love anything outdoors, especially when I can enjoy it with my dogs!

Jordynn W. - Writing Specialist
Hi, my name is Jordynn and I am a masters student in the Forensic Psychology program here at ASU. I am primarily focused on research aimed at bettering our corrections and justice system here in the U.S. to lower recidivism rates. My goal is to continue on to earn my PhD in clinical psychology. I received my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in anthropology from ASU. I am the assistant director for a minority outreach program in the Psychology Department, along with working for POW-C. I understand how difficult it can be to learn APA and enjoy helping others understand the formatting. Other than school, I love to travel, I go on hiking or camping trips whenever I can! I look forward to working with you!

Annie H. -Writing Specialist
Hey y'all, I'm Annie! I am originally from sunny Tucson, Arizona, and I received both a Bachelors of Psychology and a Bachelors of English Literature from Louisiana Tech University. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Clinical Research Management here at ASU, with the goal of admission to a Cognitive Psychology or similar Ph.D. program. My specific interest is in the visual system and its interaction with reading, poetry, and affective processes. I have always been passionate about the marriage between behavioral sciences and English skills. The ability to successfully communicate through writing is extremely important, and I'm here to provide quick tips and tricks so you can get the job done! When I'm not studying, working, or writing, you can find me practicing yoga or snoozing alongside my dog Squashy.

Natalia B. - Writing Specialist
Hello! My name is Natalia, and I am currently a second year student in ASU’s Master of Counseling program. Prior to this, I got my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado and worked as a case manager for two years. I’m originally from Colorado and moved to the Phoenix area in 2023. In my free time, I love enjoying the warm weather here, reading, or spending time with my fiancé and my pet bird. I am very excited to be on the path to becoming a licensed counselor, and I hope to eventually open my own therapy practice. Outside of counseling though, I’ve always felt I had a knack for the technical skills of writing, and I look forward to helping other students to implement those skills.
